We have over 4,000 unique rugs at our London showroom, and there really is no substitute for seeing and feeling the hand-woven Persian and Oriental rugs in person. There is also no one better to gauge what will work in a home than its owner! We are open seven days a week, with evening and weekend appointments also available to suit your schedule.

Yes please. Booking an appointment ensures that you have a dedicated style specialist available to assist you in your showroom experience. However, we do allow walk-ins during the week if you are in the area and want to pop in. We pride ourselves on offering a tailored client experience when shopping for rugs, booking an appointment allows us to give you the focus you deserve!

If you feel comfortable measuring the dimensions of the room in which your rug will go, then we suggest bringing these with you. Please also be sure to include the minimum and maximum width, as well as the minimum and maximum length of your desired rug. This will give our Design Consultants a good sense of what rug, runner or carpet will work best in your space.

No problem! We will have a Design Consultant call you and plan out your desired rug selection. We can do a video call or phone call – whatever suits you best. We will also share images and videos with you to help with the decision.

No, we don’t. Part of our ethos at the London Persian Rug Company is to directly source the finest handmade Oriental rugs and Persian carpets, rugs and runners for our clients, without you having to pay a premium for the service. We import directly from our weavers to our showroom, ensuring the best and fairest deal for everyone.

If you have a specific design in mind that isn’t readily available, we offer bespoke weaving services to create a rug tailored precisely to your specifications. Once we know what those are, we can further discuss order lead time with you.

Yes, we do. Our Design Consultants are highly experienced and available to guide you as needed throughout your rug purchasing experience.

Yes. There is no substitute for seeing a rug in its proper context, and we suggest that all our carpets and rugs should be viewed in situ before a final purchase is made. After you have chosen a selection of your favourites at our showroom, we will bring the rugs to you at your selected time, so that you can experience them in the familiar surroundings of home before making a final decision. Once you’ve decided, our expert Fitters will cut underlay, place the rug in its ideal position, and return the room to its original state.

No, because all rugs in our collections are handmade and one-of-a-kind. If, however, we are weaving a bespoke rug for you based on your specifications, we will make up a sample for your initial approval.

Yes, subject to prior approval. Whether you are redecorating, moving house, or have a Persian rug that you no longer need, we will take almost any handmade carpet or rug as a part exchange against a new piece from our stock.

Carpets are usually larger than rugs and cover the entire floor, while rugs are often smaller and don't cover a whole space. A rug is considered a carpet when it is 4m x 3m in size, or larger.
